Chris Macrae and the Muhamad Yunus Book Club
Chris Macrae was keen to promote the ideas in Muhamad Yunus’ book, ‘World Without Poverty’. To this end he distributed free copies of the book and encouraged people to set up book clubs.
Pamela organised distribution of the books in Nigeria and Kenya (with some of the Kenyan books reaching Tanzania and Uganda).
She also organised an online discussion group amongst some of the people who had received the books. Discussions were carried out through emails via the Minciu Sodas ‘Learning from Each Other’ Yahoo group and also, in real time, at the Minciu Sodas worknets chat room during "First Thursday" meetings.
