Needs analysis for COL
In 2003 Krishna Alluri of COL (Commonwealth of Learning) asked Pamela to do a needs analysis in Ago-Are. David Mutua and Pamela organised this together.
Meetings were arranged with various interest groups. The outcomes of the interest group meetings were captured in short video reports. This ensured the words of the interest group representative(s) were captured faithfully.
Meetings were arranged with youths, women, farmers, health workers and teachers. (It was not possible to do a video with the health workers but their views were collected.) The information gathered during the needs analysis was taken into consideration in planning a subsequent COL/OCDN project.
