(Written by Pamela April 2012) I first met David at an event in the "mid noughties" organised by the Open University. It brought together academics and practitioners - but the practitioners were heavly outnumbered, so I was particulcarly pleased to find David there. He is a  social reporter, who works as a freelance on a mix of consulting and social reporting projects, so his perspective was more on my side of the divide. We share many interests so our paths often cross.
