I think I first met Dougald at a PRADSA workshop where he was talking about School of Everything. I got to know him better in 2009 through the memorably named "Glue-Sniffers" meet-ups ("Where ICT meets Appropriate Development") and then through other initiatives that he was organising.
More recently (2011) our paths crossed more frequently through School of Everything Unplugged, and his other projects connected with Space Makers, Brixton Market, Dark Mountain, and the Alternative Universtiy at Westminster Hub.
