Kellie and Pamela met through Emile Emiabata in April 2009 (nothing to do with Africa). Kellie and her husband Michael subsequently went a long trip to Africa and then Vietnam. They kept in touch with friends and family (including Pamela) through e-mails and then blogs. They ended their trip in California, and in August 2010 Kelly and Pamela got back in contact “properly” again. Kellie and Pamela now have increased areas of overlapping interest especially Africa and corporate social responsibility.
