This is an archive of the Dadamac.net website, as it was in 2015, it is no longer being updated.
It would be great if all we ever needed was "the right hardware and software" - but life is never that simple. This section will cover some of the particalities that help or hinder effective use (like power supplies, staff, training, financial sustainability, etc -).
Dadamac is needs driven; active mainly in Africa and online (plus some presence in the UK); much of its work is done on a tiny budget and it relies heavily on voluntary effort. This means there are interesting challenges regarding the big picture and infrastructure etc, as well as the smaller picture of paying for things and having the right people to make things happen and then keep them working.
As this section develops it will explain more about those issues.
