Tractor News

This week’s UK-Nigeria online meeting was unusual as we did not have the Nigerian input! The reason for this was that John Dada had emailed us to say that he had been visiting Jos hospital and had felt the blast when the bomb detonated. He was therefore busy making arrangements for the patient he was visiting to be moved.
Despite this John was able update us via emails.

The Fast Tractor story has now reached an exciting stage. Pamela Mclean was able to confirm that she had met with businessman Cass Biriyok at his offices in Canary Wharf and who has a bookshop in Kaduna where the Tractor will be collected from. Cass is a highly trusted contact of John. It was felt by the UK Tractor Team that it would be quicker and more cost effective to use Cass as the method of sending the money rather than the cumbersome and more costly traditional banking systems available to Fantsuam Foundation. As a result Pamela in her role as a Trustee of Dadamac Foundation together with Steve Podmore of Fast Tractor met with Cass to hand over a cheque for £3205. More details about this meeting and a photo can be seen on this Fast Tractor..next steps page .
