Fantsuam Foundation (www.fantsuam.org) is committed to empowering community members, particularly women, to find employment and income to meet the needs of themselves and their families. We work in 50 communities across 7 Local Government areas in Kaduna State, and over 5,000 individuals benefit from Fantsuam’s services every year. We estimate that over 200,000 people have benefited either directly or indirectly from Fantsuam Foundation’s activities since it was established in BayanLoco in 2001.
Fantsuam Rural Health Centre
The Fantsuam Rural Health Centre, set up in 2007, is a not-for-profit primary healthcare facility providing services to address the needs of its host communities. It is located in BayanLoco, a peri-urban area of Kafanchan, Kaduna State and seeks to emulate the principles of Nigeria’s premier Ibarapa Community Health Programme through the provision of a professional and affordable primary healthcare service.
