Diogenes was a man who unquestionably "walked his talk". Tim Rayner wrote a great blog about him " Cynic simplicity: the courage to think ". It made me think of people today who are living courageous, and at times lonely, lives because of what they think and the authenticity of their actions. I declare that The First Thursday Group is well and truly launched - or if not exactly "launched" it is at least splashing out. We couldn't have our usual etherpad online meeting today so "First Thursday people" did other things instead. Reflections on Dadamac Day 2013

November 25th was a special day for Dadamac. Like many Dadamac things it gradually emerged as various loosely related pieces came together, so I'm describing the various pieces for the benefit of newcomers to our story. Each November we do something to mark " Dadamac Day ". Like most annual events it's a chance to involve others, to celebrate how far we've come, and share hopes of where we're going.
